Fomapan 200 35mm Bulk

I thought I would have a change from my regular 35mm film (HP5) and try some FomaPan 200 35mm Bulk film.
I have been a long time fan of the FomaPan 200 in 5x4 format, no so much in 120 but have never tried it in 35mm.

First test will be to find the correct EI for my workflow, camera and lens which will be the Pentax Spotmatic. After that test is done, I will do a series of tests to find out the development time for Zone VIII in Kodak D23 as this is the developer I am interested in using it with.

I've seen some really lovely results with Fomapan 200. How are you getting on with it in 35mm?
Why do you think you can't get on with it in 120 but can in LF?

There are a number of people on the forum who use Fomopan 200 including myself. I have tried it at 200iso and find the negs can be a bit on the thin side so have dropped it to 125iso and reduced the development x10% and this gives very good results when developed in ID11 diluted 1 to1 or 1 to 3. I like a slightly more 'meaty' neg because all my images are darkroom prints. For a B&W film it does give quite a decently fine grain up to 9.5 x12 anything over that it becomes a little more grainy but not to bad.
 
I rate it at ISO 160. It does have a steep curve and can build up contrast quickly so I find that developing at 75% of the suggested times does seem to yield a good density of about 1.47 for Zone VIII accoring to my densitometer
