First experiment with IR on my D810

I had to take a few images to demonstrate the effect of filters for B&W photography, for a talk at our club photo. After running through the standard ones, I thought I would give a polyester IR filter we bought a few years ago, for film use, a try. Exposure ended up being 4 mins.

Yes, I know there is a massive flare spot but I didn't have anything suitable to stop light coming in behind the filter on all sides.

What I found interesting was that, on my car, the IR made it possible to see that the majority of the bodywork is metal, except for the front and rear bumper sections.
