I generally start off being a bit dismissive of photos of statues, graffiti and other art works as it isn't always clear to me that the photographer is adding anything to the original.

Not sure exactly why but that certainly doesn't apply to this one. The simple silhouette removes a lot of the original, yet gives you all the information you need. Excellent stuff

I think if he has been moved by composition to the left it would look even better, great light
