Presumably early in the morning? I like the contre-jour effect of bright highlights and deep shadow, and well caught.

I walked across an almost empty Piazza San Marco just after sunrise on a very bitter morning in January 2020, the only other person a solitary young Chinese woman wearing a mask. I remember thinking how silly she looked. And then...
