Super sharp
I think that there is too much distraction caused by the many, small twigs and also the dark, vertical branch on the right hand side. It might be worthwhile cropping away some of the right hand side and getting rid of some of the little twigs, what do you think?

I know what your saying, but the branch the Eagle is siting on and looking down (leading line), is all part of the composition. Maybe a more exotic lens that the F4 I used may have blurred out the background a bit more.

I think you mean the fringing along the 'edge' of the eagle. It is also apparent on some of the twigs and branches, particularly those in the top lhs.

Whilst there is evidence of some fringing on the twigs the white line Simon is referring to, and elsewhere in the image, is a sharpening halo as evidenced by the adjacent contemporary dark line. These are almost always caused by excessive sharpening and/or over enthusiastic use of third party plugins. Ian has a video on the site that shows how to remove these but careful editing to prevent them is the best way.
In my view the composition is good - I actually like the twigs as it gives more of a feel for its habitat and the shape and features of the eagle - for me - are strong enough to avoid it being lost.
