We had a day trip to London (about 14hrs worth in the end) enjoyed Tate Britain lovely seeing some of Turners unfinished works popped over to Tate Modern - hmmm no comment, a few street shots along the river through to Westminster (below 3 shots all taken within 6 seconds - these are 1200px at low res I think they should be OK?!) - then over to the Royal Academy for the Summer Exhibition - mostly very good I thought. Quick pint (or 2) in Mayfair over to Piccadilly to the Portrait gallery - excellent (open to 9.00pm ish on a Friday), few shots of a protest march (look better in colour) relatively cheap ice cream from McDonalds and train home by 11.30pm ish. Great day the place was buzzing everywhere, actually is was rammed - great for photographers we will have to go again soon....

You have more staying power than me Steve, a couple hours is quite enough. Nice pics.

Cheers Glenn I live in a village so always find London really vibrant, it was almost overwhelming - everywhere I looked there were photos.....it kept me going...

Fab photos, Steve, you really are a star at this stuff. Did any of your subjects know they'd been papped?

Thanks Toby, you have always been very positive about my street photography, it is appreciated. No, no-one seems to know, I try not to disturb anyone just get them as they are relaxed doing their own thing I am there and then I am gone, always moving, always looking for my next shot....

Steve, there's a grittiness about these that I find quite appealing. Your technique must be well practiced. Grab shots that capture just the right pose must be so difficult. Nice work.

Thanks John, yes, always practicing, trying new things - some days better than others...:)

No, it's my fault I have been building my website which works OK now (I think, although is WIP!) I had these on there but changed a lot of things and ended up deleting some of the folders. I am running it just for my Infrared Woods images at the moment and intend to add Street, Abstract etc as separate sections on a master landing page - but I don't really know what I am doing so just seeing how it goes...

No they won't for a while as I am not uploading them again until I have sorted the rest of the website out - you can have a look at the Infrared Woods ones that I have dedicated to my Mum but not anything else for now - I have a few projects on the go at the moment...
