Not a name I have come across before. The BBC is carrying a news item about his new exhibition of Bond villains called "Nemesis". Peeked my interest enough to look at his Web site. If you like gritty you will probably love his work but I couldn't help wondering if some of his subjects were happy about how he has depicted them. You can find most of his work at:

Worth a look.

I think they're superb, though I feel that some of them verge on the edge of excessive digital processing, where dialling up the structure starts to turn flesh to steel, and I'm not keen on the ones (Hugh wossisname) which either seem to have been taken with something like a lensbaby or to have been subjected to varying degrees of pretty extreme pp to create an illusion of depth of field blur. The nicest (for me) seem to have been taken on film.

I like the way he gets his subjects to relax by pulling funny faces, then sometimes publishes those frames. Cheeky, but I guess they know what they're letting themselves in for.
