This huge hill overlooks the city of St. John's, Newfoundland. It was also where Marconi experimented with long-distance radio transmissions in the late 1800s. Due to its strategic placement overlooking the harbour, fortifications were built on the hill beginning in the mid 17th century.

The film set consisted of 10 houses, a church, wharf & fishing stages. I liked the dried cod on the fishing stage.

Perched high upon a rocky precipice overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Cape Spear Lighthouse is the easternmost point in Canada. I'll be back there next week to see and photograph it again. Hoping for clearer weather, maybe a morning sunrise? That would be nice.
