Three Still Life Photographs

I find still-life photography not only interesting, but also challenging, given the limited space I have in my computer room.

Here are three photographs I made recently using a Rolleiflex 2.8 film camera. I chose not only to restrict myself to a single light source, but also to include that light source within the frame.

For film, I used Kodak TMax 100, which I developed in Kodak XTOL for 7½ minutes.

Some nice quality in the images Ian but I do find the inclusion of the light source distracting - or am I missing the point?

John, no I don't think you are missing the point because there is no point to be missed. Just something different to what I had done before.

Wonderful quality in these, beautiful rich blacks and that creamy out-of-focus background. Admirable attention to detail, as always.
