Sunset on Dalnaspidal

A place I have stopped at many times on my way to Inverness for work. This one was taken in January this year, I had to be quick as it was bitterly cold and somehow didn't have a jacket or hat with me!!!

It is probably because it is in the shadow of the hills.

The snow gives it an alien feel. I like it.

It was a bit like this last week where I live, only more snow! I couldn't get my car out of the drive!
I know this is in Scotland, but it reminds me of a landscape picture my son took in Iceland about 20 years ago. It makes me shiver just looking at it. They say good pictures make you feel something, this one does.
