Skipton Basin.

Taken on an early autumn evening on the Leeds - Liverpool canal. I'm not sure about this shot. On the one hand, the lights top right pull the eye but they also give context to the time of day. Thoughts welcome.

Lovely image. Just my opinion but I do think the two lights in the upper right could be a little less bright.

That's probably the answer bandy. Less bright but they would still add context.

You also have the light from the building balcony just above the barges that gives an indication of the time of day. In any event it is a very enjoyable photo to view and get "lost" in.

This is attractive at first glance, but I find the processing a bit intrusive (the lights, the burned in building beyond them), as though you've tried to make it look further into dusk than it actually was. A the sky is very blotchy in places. It works superficially, but I can't warm to it.
