Photo shop elements

Oh, and to get out of the fullscreen shared screen, you need to move the mouse just to the right of the top-left corner and wait for a couple of seconds for the buttons on the screen sharing window to appear. Then click on the green button.

Not sure if the conversation has moved on but .... I had Elements 11 before I changed to ps/lr.

As you do most of your processing in LR PSE would most likely do all that you need Simon

Thanks Chris- I have. trial of PSE and find ithe interface horrible but having found my way around I cannot see curves anywhere which would be what I used most so that's a bit of a non starter

PSE 11 had curves so it's certain to be in the current version.

Yes, any new software you get will have a learning curve - something I hate too :(

I cannot find curves at all in PSE

anyone know where they are?

also there's no profile RGB profile available and other things that just don't work, e.g.g double clicking on adjustment icon when medium size doesn't work, whereas when at a small size does bring up adjustment panel

It seems to be a mish mash of auto-everything and other features that I can't imagine a newbie ever being interested in [info-instogram-clipping mask-colour swatches] any way the main sticking points are no curves and no prophoto

The curves adjustment is not same as photoshop. If a specific curves adjustment layer is not auto generated maybe you need to duplicate the layer you want to adjust and adjust that.

I still think that I had a 'normal' curves adjustment but I did get some plug-ins that added a lot of 'full' PS into PSE so that may be what I am thinking of.

tried that thanks Chris

Hm very clunky compared to interacting with curves directly with a. Wacom pen

Simon I think I was remembering the Elements + plugin see

This video will give you an idea of what it can do and it covers curves layer at 6min 50 secs.

It costs about £10 (12 US dollars)

I remember it as being a great combination.
