Can I ask which app you use for the film types to emulate with different filters ?Thanks Tommy
I have a special case for the mobile phone
At the camera lens area there’s a threaded journal where I can screw in a step ring so I can thread on any of the filters I have for the little Leica-type rangefinder camera (FED-2)
I’d tried the range of colors - that might have been the yellow or orange - it makes a difference, and with the mobile phone app I can see in real time how filter color and exposure values can/will affect the outcome
In the app there is a long list of film types for the app to emulate as I test the light etc
Very handy
I gave it a go and downloaded it. Not sure I could see a great deal of difference between the different film types although that may have been my expectations (often an issue apparently !) The ability to measure light in EV was good as it aligned to my Rolleicord well as does the square format. I also tried the apps color filtering and didn't find the orange / red filter darkened blue skies that much. All in all fair for the £4.99 cost. The app is called Viewfinder
It will emulate film types
I use a special cellphone case for the use of the actual filters that I run on my cameras, via step rings etc
