I've called it an alley but not sure that's the right description. One of a no. of places where the old cobbles and the cart tracks have been preserved.
In parts of Yorkshire it may be called a 'Ginnel' and other parts of the North East a 'Cut' I do like the range of tones and lack of harsh contrast (and people but the one person visible is essential to make the picture.
