I set up my first darkroom 56 years ago. These days I'm shooting a Fujifilm X-T3 with the Accros G, film simulation which I agument heavily in NIK Silver EFX 6. When you use the tools in Silver EFX you can save your settings to a preset that can be quickly applied to your images. I am constantly refining my Silver EFX preset. It's a never ending process.

Of course, this is just a temporary measure until I can afford a Leica Monochrom with a Summilux lens. I don't expect this to happen in this lifetime. But, I'm holding out hope for it happening in the next lifetime.

I think Leica sales would indeed be healthier if they counted customers future lifetimes ! Of course you will need to be good in this lifetime to avoid be reincarnated as a dung beetle, who I am sure struggle with rangefinders :)

Excellent point. I've never seen a dung beetle with a Monochrom strapped to their neck, of course that doesn't preclude their haveing one at home.
