Thanks Kelly. I appreciate it :) She's a love.
Thanks Keith. The shade is what I couldn't decide on of course. Since reading John's and your comments,
I've cropped from the 4x6 format to an 8x10 which still leaves the lamp in.
The 8x10 is much...
Really appreciate the comments John. I thought several times about the background
and cropping tighter. Decided this is never going to be for anyone but Lin and I and
the lamp gives it a bit more...
This my 2 year old English Springer Spaniel Abby. Natural light grab shot
of her by an open window. I know painterly isn't well accepted here but I
thought it worked in this instance. Now, it's...
Got to agree with the folks above. Really nice work :)
One question, if I may. Did you augment the catchlights ?
+1 on #2 of 1+3 :)
Really like this Loomis
Cracking good shot !!
Great shot. A real character I'll bet.
Much appreciated Roger.
Excellent edit and even better composition.
Well done John.
Thanks James.
Many thanks for the comments. Yes, what little wind we had was on the nose as you
can tell from how tight the booms are.
Thanks again.
Ron
Also.... Really like the new forum format ! Well done.
Gotta agree. Wonderful work.
If I could be allowed a tiny niggle, what do you think
of skewing out the bottom right hand corner just a tad ?
Really well done.
Ron
Edit: I go along with Frank...
Great feeling. Film or digital ?
As I said in a reply to John sometime back, I love "all things boat".
Had an opportunity to go aboard an 80 foot gaff rigged schooner
earlier this month. Lovely lady she was but the capt. would not...
Totally Agree :qqb003:
Great feeling Bob. Would that be an old Fender ?
Bryan should know these cars. In Mississippi, this is stil considered a "new un" :)
absolutely fantastic Karine. Wonderful eye and edit.
It's very interesting to see that y'all have Coots in France :)
Somehow I thought they were all here on the Tennessee River.
Well done.

Nice shot John. I love "all things boat" :)
I assume it is standard procedure to loose the anchor even
if you're going to be tied off to a dock. Fascinating.
Really appreciate the comments. A feeling of depth was the primary
concern for this photo and I would love to increase that feeling. Will
give it a try if I can ever figure out what you mean by...
Much appreciated Luis :)
This was taken from a maintenance road in the
Kentucky Horse Park - Lexington Kentucky. As usual,
I would appreciate any helpful criticism / suggestions.
Thanks.
